Contractor Website Design
A website designed to do one job: turn a stranger who is comparing three contractors into the person who calls you. Written around your trade and your area, live in 72 hours, from $49 a month with the Google Business Profile set up and kept current. We build the first version before you pay anything.
What a Contractor Website Has to Do
Contractor website design is not the same problem as designing a shop or a restaurant site, and a template built for either one will lose you work. The visit is short, it happens on a phone, and it ends in a call or it ends in nothing.
- The person looking at it has two or three other contractors open in other tabs. Your site is being compared, not read.
- They are checking one thing first: do you do this particular job, in this particular town. Everything else is second.
- It happens on a phone, often standing in the room with the problem. A number they have to hunt for is a number they do not dial.
- Photographs of your own finished work are the only proof most homeowners can judge. Stock images of somebody else's kitchen do the opposite.
- Half the visits arrive from a Google Business Profile, not from a search result, which is why the two have to be set up together or the site sits there unvisited.
What the Design Includes
Every plan is the same website work. What changes between them is how many forms you need and how much reporting you want back.
Five pages written for your trade
Home, services, service area, about, contact. The wording is your trade's, not a placeholder's: the jobs you take, the ones you do not, the towns you cover and the minimum you work to.
Built for the phone first
The layout is designed at phone width and then widened, because that is the order the visits arrive in. Tap-to-call in the header, on every page, without scrolling.
Your Google Business Profile, set up and kept current
Claimed, categorised, hours, service area, photos and the link back to the site. For local work this does at least as much as the website itself, and it is the part most contractors never finish.
A quote form that reaches you
It emails you the enquiry with the page it came from, so you know whether they were reading about emergency call-outs or about bathroom remodels before they wrote to you.
The technical work nobody sees
Domain, hosting, SSL, backups, page speed, and the structured data that lets Google show your trade, your area and your reviews. It is included rather than sold as an SEO add-on.
Changes are part of the subscription
New service, new number, new photos from a job you finished on Friday. You send it, we do it. The site does not go stale, which is what happens to a one-off build about ten months in.
You own the domain and the content
The domain is registered in your name and the text and photos are yours. If you leave, you take them. That is worth checking with anyone you buy a website from.
Two Designs to Start From
Both are live. Open them on your phone, which is where your customers will see yours.
Built Around a List of Jobs
Services written as tasks rather than categories, a stated minimum, and a form a homeowner can paste a whole list into. Suits handymen, remodelers and the general trades where the customer arrives with five small things rather than one big one.
How the Build Works
1. You tell us the trade and the town
Three answers on the form is enough to start. No discovery call, no brief to write.
2. We build the first version
A real site with your services, your area and your number on it, on a temporary address. You look at it before any money changes hands.
3. You mark up what is wrong
Wrong jobs listed, wrong towns, a photo you want in, a price you want out. We change it.
4. It goes live within 72 hours
On your own domain, with the Google Business Profile done at the same time. Then it is ours to keep updated for as long as you are with us.
What Contractor Website Design Costs Here
A monthly subscription with no setup fee and no contract. The design work, the hosting and the changes are in the price; the difference between the plans is the number of pages, the forms and the reporting. Anything bigger is quoted on its own.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49 | $490 | A first site: five pages, one quote form, two changes a month. |
| Growth | $79 | $790 | Eight pages, up to three forms, a page per service, before-and-after gallery, five changes a month. |
| Custom | Quoted | Quoted | Several locations, a bigger build, or anything unusual. Priced once we know the scope. |
Every plan includes the site itself, the Google Business Profile setup, the domain, hosting, SSL and backups. The full comparison is on the pricing page, including what an agency build and a DIY builder cost instead.
Website Design by Trade
The design brief changes with the trade. An emergency plumber and a landscaper are selling to people in completely different states of mind, so the pages are written separately for each one.

Contractor Website Design — Questions
What do you need from me to get started?
Your trade, your service area, a phone number, and any photos of your own work. That is enough to put the first version in front of you.
How long does it take to set up my website?
Your site is live in 72 hours. We start from your trade, your city and your photos — no long consultation process.
Who owns the website and the domain?
The domain is registered for your business. Ask us to move it and we move it — we do not hold your name hostage.
What happens if I want changes later?
Send them over and we make them. Changes are part of the monthly plan rather than billed per change: two a month on Starter, five on Growth, and whatever we agree on a custom quote. Bigger reworks we price separately so you always know before we start.
How much does a contractor website cost?
Here it is $49 or $79 a month with no setup fee and no contract, and the Google Business Profile setup is included. Several locations or a bigger build are quoted on their own. A local agency build is usually a four-figure one-off plus a monthly retainer.
Something not answered here?
Write it in the form above and we will answer it before we build anything.
There is no sales call at any point in this. You look at a site, and you either want it or you do not.
